Northeast Normal University: teach energy saving knowledge
Apr 11, 2012
A team formed by students from the Northeast Normal University in April 2012 will be teaching children in rural Yunnan and Sichuan Provinces this summer. During their stay in the country side, they will teach energy saving knowledge provided by Top10 China and promote environment protection among local people.
Currently, they are calling for volunteers and donations on campus.
There is an interesting story about Top10 and the university. On March 6th, the student leader sent Top10 a message through Weibo, asking for materials and brochures on energy conservation. After a careful study of their proposal, Top10 China decided to provide them with not only the energy saving materials that they can use for teaching, but also some coats and bags that students can use during the trip.
